There is simply nothing more fulfilling than turning a passion into a career, and I’m living proof!

After 20+ years employed as a Human Resources professional,  I founded Boston Foodie Tours in 2011 with one intention: to showcase Boston’s award-winning best eats, including those of James Beard Award winners, Best of Boston winners, and food institutions. With a culinary school certificate in hand, I had experienced food tours across the country, and wanted to share with our guests – both locals and visitors – my vision of an ideal food tour.

As we begin our sixth season, we’ve experienced a good deal of growth; however, our initial mission has remained the same. Today, as a multiple award winner, we offer three public tours: Beacon Hill and Back Bay, Market District Tour, and North End Neighborhood Tour.  In addition, we customize clients’ tours and restaurant dine arounds, and, as of 2016, offer community-based cooking classes, including an affiliation with Christopher Kimball’s new Milk Street Kitchen.

Our team is comprised of several tour guides, nearly all of whom are employed in the industry, whether a caterer, a culinary instructor, a food writer, or a Master Chocolatier. Some have graduated from culinary programs, such as the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts and Boston University Gastronomy graduate program, while others have completed specialized certificate programs, or learned via hands-on experience. What they all have in common is that they are here to serve you, and to make your food experience a memorable one.
