Discover the charm and history of Beacon Hill with our private tour. Our tour is designed to showcase the best food and sights in this famous neighborhood. Explore the cobblestone streets, Federal brick townhouses, and gas-lit street lamps that make this area so iconic.
Our tour begins at multi-award-winning Scampo, which is housed in a former jail turned luxury hotel, and is co-owned by legendary James Beard Award winner, Lydia Shire, one of Julia Child’s favorite chefs. Here, guests will have the option to choose two light courses, including Chef’s iconic lobster pizza. Next, we’ll visit an ice cream shop that has been ranked as one of the top ten in the country. We’ll also bring you to exclusive Louisburg Square, and the most photographed street in the city, Acorn Street. After that, it’s time for truffle tastings at a multiple Best of Boston Chocolatiers winner, and nuts tastings – with a surprise! – at a “factory”.
We’ll continue our tour with a stroll through the Boston Public Garden, the oldest botanical in the country, where we’ll view the popular Make Way for Ducklings Statues, the Swan Boats in season, and the Garden of Remembrance (9-11 Memorial). Our finale awaits at Bistro du Midi, a Top Fifty Boston Restaurant, led by chef/partner Robert Sisca, former Executive Sous Chef at famed chef Eric Ripert’s Le Bernardin restaurant. Here guests will enjoy a popular crudo dish, as well as a seasonal soup.
Optional add-ons: Box of chocolates selected by celebrant. Swan Boats ride in season, and/or inexpensive street art of guests as available at the Boston Public Garden.
